About me
Started as a MOD Tracker on Amiga under the name Dirty Pigeon back in 1988. Changed my alias when tracking on PC to DaytaMOD in 1991. Then made the change most people did to releasing tracks through MP3.

I became a Sound Engineer and mixer for Rainbow Studios, London for a few years and got my LSS Certification and AES Honours in Sound Engineering and Mixing.

Now married with 3 kids and heavily into my job which alas has left very little time for music which I do regret. Now Trax in Space is back, I hope to get back into being a song reviewer which I enjoyed with the old Trax in Space, and Column writer for newsletters (one thing at a time). I'm also starting to promote another former MOD legend - Hunz (Hans van Vliet lead singer of former group Beanbag) as he releases his new solo album (When Victims fight).

One thing you have to understand is Barry makes it clear that this tune is his attempt at getting to grips with the new sounds, systems, and techniques of Kontakt 3. So when I heard this I was thinking "Why only 59 seconds?" Treat it as it is, a sample tune and you'll appreciate it more. I liked

If there's one thing negative about Trackers, it's that no matter how much of a genius tracker you are, increasing the pattern row to 128 or more, tweaking the hell out of the tempo and speed settings, you'll never completely hide the "mechanical tempo" feeling of a track. You change the tempo o

Looks like we have a potential track for the next Elder Scrolls Game release !!! ;-) Boxcutter has quality we have yet to see but this track is just a taste of what is to come. It's a beautiful piece of music and well produced. Kind of "Lord of the rings goes to the Highlands". The Pan Flut

The intro to the song was promising, but unfortunately for my ears was a litte on the repetetive side even for a Dance/Electronica/Goa Genre. For a dance track it was the weak beat the took ambience away from the song. Shame as this had such potential. Caviar has quality in him. This track almos

Being an admirer of Grip's "Clinefield" track I was looking forward to listening to this song. It held great appeal at the beginning for me with it's very Sci-Fi sounding Electronic track opening, which compliments it's theme and would be a great background track for a sci-fi based game. Howeve

Amazing Ambient artist. Music to mellow to. One of my favourite TiS Artists.

Oscar (8 tracks)
Become a bit of a fan of Oscar Reed\'s voice. If you like Metal, you\'ll love the band "Another way of life" where Oscar is lead vocal.
