About me
I've been tracking since 2000-ish. I think the first smart thing I did was wait until '03 to make my first mod release. Practice is the key there.

Apparently I've been a member at CTG Music since 2004. I remember signing up way back then so I could upload MP3s, and then I promptly forgot about it. I'll be updating that page as time allows.

Apr.29.2008
I removed the .ALS source files after finding out that next to nothing would be included. I'm in the process of creating Live Packs of everything, which I will offer in the source or through Mediafire (up to 100MB per file, that is). You'll have to have Live 6.0.10 or later to view them. You'll also need Essential Instruments Collection I for several, but they will be noted. Enjoy :)

I've been remixed :D :D :D Check out orkabot's sweet glitchy mashup of "Broken" here: http://www.traxinspace.com/song/39941

Favorite musicians
My favorite trackers are Skaven, Necros, Acumen, Warder, DRQ, Anvil, and more... Other influences: Alice in Chains, Chet Atkins, Audioslave, Babes in Toyland, Johann Sebastian Bach, Bad Religion, Beck, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Bikini Kill, Blind Melon, Bush (although they kinda started to suck after their first album), Frederic Chopin, Eric Clapton, Chris Cornell, Corrosion of Conformity, CCR, The Crystal Method, Disturbed, The Doors, Enigma, Enya, Faith No More, Fear Factory, Filter (Short Bus), Foo Fighters (1st two albums), Garbage, George Gershwin, God Lives Underwater, Godsmack, Gravity Kills, Greenday, Guns N Roses, Helium, Helmet, JIMI HENDRIX!!, Hole, The Jesus Lizard, Scott Joplin, Korn, Led Zepplin, Live, Mansun, Megadeth, Metallica, Wes Montgomery, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Ted Nugent, The Offspring (Smash and before), Orgy, Pantera, A Perfect Circle, Pink Floyd, Pitchshifter, Powerman 5000 (sort of), Primus, Radiohead, Rammstein, Django Reinhardt, Gioachino Antonio Rossini, Sevendust, Silverchair, Slipknot, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, Stabbing Westward (just ignore their mostly Emo lyrics), Static-X, Stone Temple Pilots (except Tiny Music...what a load of crap!), System of a Down, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, TOOL, The Ventures, White Zombie, Frank Zappa, Rob Zombie

Advice to other musicians
Sell out to your own ears. EQ can be a pain, but it is your friend.

Notes about my music
I'm working on my melodies and variation. I'd most appreciate advice in those areas, but any advice is good. Remixes are most definitely welcome. All I ask is that you share what you come up with :)

This is a good song that harkens back to the brief retro rock period that was trying to bloom just a few years ago, and still further back to some of the classic rock of the 60s and 70s, where the focus was on telling a good story without going overboard on production or orchestral accompaniment and

This is an excellent industrial track, utilizing layers of distorted instruments and sound effects for a nice hard and heavy feel. The emotional quality is well conveyed; I can understand the artist's anger behind the piece. I especially like one particular synth that captures the wailing sound o

This one is long, which can be taken as both something good and something bad. Fortunately there's much, much more good in this than bad. Things start off with what I might call the song of giant, irradiated crickets (Three-mile Island crickets, if you will); very relaxing but slightly unearthly.
