About me JPK/Jpkwolf/Gaywolf/Wolfboy
I found my first tracker in late 1997 and got really excited about the possibility to create my own music. First tracks I released under the name Jari K having trouble thinking up an alias for myself. I believe nobody has those tracks now. Sadly not even me. Soon enough I started using my initials JPK. The music I created was crappy dance/techno. In 2001 I found out about some unknown Christian rock group called JPK and decided to change my title to Jpkwolf. Soon enough I wasn't satisfied with the name and changed it to Gaywolf to stir up some possible controversy. However feeling not satisfied with that name either my next name to use was Wolfboy. From 2003 it has stayed until now. Lately under this project I have been making SID electro. I'm still looking back at my dance/techno days and hope to return to that music someday.
Machine Animal
In 2002 I started really trying to make metal using trackers under the name Depressed Animal. Few years later I thought the name was really shitty so I changed it to Machine Animal that still sounds fine to me today. Machine Animal leaned a lot more towards industrial than metal. The songs took different forms and in 2005 I had some songs that were somewhat decent. My latest work I am quite happy with and Machine Animal has become my main musical project being electro-industrial with electric guitar riffs thrown in.
HARBL
HARBL is a comedy(?) avantgarde(?) digital hardcore project I started in early 2007. I haven't made a lot of songs yet but hope to do so in the future. I found out there is another band called HARBL in the USA but that band seems rather lame put together by some kids. I dunno if I'm trying to be funny with the lyrics of HARBL. If it's funny then good if not then that's fine too. As long as it's freaky. Bands like Perseraiskaus and Turmion Kätilöt serve as heavy influences. If this project will ever perform live it will be FREAKY ..and possibly really awesome.
Yari K
Yari K is my project dedicated to true oldschool techno. Possibly also to experimental electronic music and acid in the future. I started the project first calling it Unknown Artist. I thought it was really funny but later got tired of the difficult to locate name not to mention there really are several bands/projects under this title already. In 2007 the name was changed to Yari K.
Project YIFF
I have always been a fan of psytrance since I got into it. Especially Infected Mushroom is my big idol in this field. They are always re-inventing the genre. In 2002 I started my own psytrance project entitled Project YIFF. I wanted to create a furry themed psytrance project (The more it pisses people off the better) Since 2005 it has been on hiatus but I really look forward to returning to this project maybe someday soon. In my opinion the tracks are kind of okay but a LOT could be improved in them.
Psychodroid
EBM or harsh EBM. Combichrist being a huge influence.
The future
In the future I have plans for even more projects. Possible genres include SID-metal, new digital hardcore project, new psytrance project and progressive death metal.

Notes about my music Some of it sucks. Some of it sucks less. Some of it is quite good. |
