I have a char on Demise too, but he's a straight up n00b. When I signed on to Demise earlier this year I tried to get to T2A from Moonglow and was like wtf huh, so I ran to the T2A entrance from Trinsic and discovered it wasn't open yet, so I went to Hybrid instead. ;>

My wife is a gamer, it rocks :) I wrote the MegaSpawner System. I am Morxeton on RunUO. I have written some cool stuff that I never released but I just need to find the time to do it, and also the people that are interested in it. I may actually get into it again. That's amazing you met your wife on UO. I met my wife online in high school, but she never got into UO very much. You wrote the Megaspawner? I think I've used that a couple times. Not much of a scripter myself, I like turnkey stuff.

I've played since early 99 on the EA servers until around 2003 when I finally quit. I met my wife on UO, long story but we're still married :). I messed around with my own RunUO server for a while and am now good at C# as a result. I've written some cool scripts, such as the MegaSpawner and Time System scripts. I've thought about running my own shard but don't really have the time to sink into it...

I started whenever The Second Age expansion came out. I actually play on UO Gamers: Demise. I have actually never paid monthly for the game, always played on/ran private servers.

I still play UO from time to time, but not on EA anymore. I play on UO Gamers: Hybrid, a free shard run by the RunUO team. How long have you been playing UO?

Indeed I have played UO, wasn't expecting someone to spot that so quickly. :D It's definitely among my favorite games. I'm certain Garriott's quote is referring to UO, but I found truth in his word in relation to music and art.

I have yet to read the dancing wu-li masters, but from the synopsis it sounds very similar. I will have to check it out. I believe symmetry is a perfect example of chaos and order in harmony, at least when you look at fractals and other strange attractors.

of each other. they are on opposite sides of the spectrum but very much the same, one requires the other to exist. if one examines a leaf, you may be able to predict the shape and life cycle, however the pattern of its veins could be different from leaf to leaf. that's both chaos and order on a single tree, opposite but the same.
