Well, that's what stage I was in too. I thought I didn't have time. Which was true at that time, but time will come eventually. You will find 1 or 2 hours spare every once in a while. Atleast, that's what happened to me. ;)

If I had the choice between work and music... well, I don't have a choice so it doesn't really matter. Hope to hear some new tracks from yourself eventually. :)
