About me
Circumstances in my personal life which are beyond my control have left me with no option but to leave Trax in Space for a time. I don't know how long; possibly a few months, possibly forever. At this point, it appears to be definitely indefinite. Only time will tell the full tale.

Before taking my leave of Trax in Space on New Year's Eve 2007, I became the most played artist (1700 plays at this moment!), the artist with the most tracks (117), and the reviewer with the most reviews (126)...

But those statistics mean exactly nothing.

The most important thing to me is that I was a friend to real people here. I had some great interactions with some great people. In the "real" world, I tend to live a somewhat solitary life. The few friends that I do have, I don't have as much contact with as I would like. I spend many of my days alone. But Trax in Space has become a place for me to connect with likeminded people, and as such it has been one of the most important places on earth for me these last few months- even though it is nothing more than a sea of ones and zeros.

I want to thank all of you that have sent me messages, posted on my profile, played/commented on/reviewed my songs, responded to my posts on the message boards. You have all made this place a warm home for me, and that is more valuable to me than I can describe. You all know who you are, and I thank every one of you. You turn those ones and zeros into millions.

Shine on, you crazy diamonds.

Black Hole Experience - Release 1

Artist: Encrypted Transmission
A nice and dark d'n'b track that takes the listener to some deep and thoughtful places without being too relaxed or too in-your-face about it. This piece strikes a nice balance between dreamy ambient d'n'b and dancefloor madness. I give it a total score of 4 stars, even though my ratings below

This is a chunky, strong industrial track through and through, with juuuust the right amount of crunchy distortion to contrast with just the right amount of hi-treble synths. I hear some subtle funk influences in some of the synth work toward the end of the track; makes for an interesting mix. I d

A mellow and grooving hip-hop track feautiring strong Japanese influences. The instrumentation and sound quality of this track is absolutely superb from start to finish. It quickly establishes a chill, Asiatic mood and sticks with it faithfully.

Artist: melancolly
A good dark ambient piece. The song flows well from beginning to end, maintaining a solid vibe of creepiness and wonder. The glitchy sound effects in the intro make for a very interesting touch- this would work very well as the background for a dark RPG or even a first person shooter video game.

Artist: Spectral the Projection
A melody-driven trance tune that doesn't really do anything new with the genre... The artist cannot be faulted for a lack of effort- trance has been around for so long and been done by so many people that it's almost impossible to come up with something truly unique that sets one song apart from t
