1Overall Description
Here is a track that has potential to be a lot more than what it is in its current form. The track isn't 'bad,' by any means, and I recommend a listen to hear the melodies if anything, but I can't say it goes beyond that. Harsh, loud lead samples that don't sit well within the mix really take away from the song. However, the piece itself is musically refreshing, and I am in fact reminded of the 'wind' element as described by the artist.

2Creativity Description
Nimbus is a very 'airy' chiptune, which isn't something I've really heard before, so I am fairly pleased with the originality of the piece. However, things seem to get repetitive internally, mainly within the bass line with harmonies, which is a sad thing. They do vary, however, and they are in their own right creative, which is a welcome thing. The percussion track doesn't do a whole of varying, if any at all, either. Overall, this piece is original, in one sense, and repetitive in another.

3Arrangement Description
Nimbus has a lot of fresh ideas, but they are simply executed poorly. There is a wind sample that seems to be more bothersome than helpful, and it doesn't seem to add much to the track. Musically, everything seems sound, the progressions are appropriate, as well as the bass line and whatnot. Besides the repetition which quickly bothers me, the arrangement is musically fine. When it comes to execution, however, things seem boring. I don't hear a lot of stereo use, nor can I agree with envelopes on some of the samples being used for block chords (At :48, there is a very obvious crossfading nature that the notes have with each other). I also would love to hear some delay on the leads, however slight, to really boost the quality of this song.

4Sound Quality Description
The quality is okay at best. A few things that I think would really help would be a better use of the chip samples. Take a listen to some of the more popular chip tracks and you'll quickly notice the difference. This piece lacks a sense of overall composition when it comes to the mixing qualities. There doesn't appear to be a lot of attention to volumes. There are a few envelopes which are noticeable that I commented on that could use some work, an obvious fade-in in a few riffs, and other than that there is a general loudness to the leads that could be worked on. I would really like to hear the wind sample either removed or turned down, as well. Granted, with chip tunes, achieving a remarkable sound quality is difficult, but it is still very possible.
