1Overall Description
Of all your work that I have heard from TiS I have to say that this is my favourite piece of yours so far. The song opens up with some really nice ambience that immediately sets the mood. The piece would make for an excellent piece of film or game music.

2Creativity Description
The piece makes a nice change from the usual feel of film score style music that I hear around. A lot of composers like to settle in to the "Jeremy Soule Safety Zone" where they churn out some basic orchestral everyfilm crap that we hear all the time.

It's really nice to hear a new sound.

3Arrangement Description
The arrangement in the song is fantastic. It opens the scene amazingly with some chiming ambience. I can picture it immediately. The song develops nicely with some great percussion working its way in. I have to say the percussion work is probably one of the high points in the song. It's very well done and is a great attribute to the piece.

Finally there are a lot of subtleties and whispers in the song and it has taken me quite a few listens to really absorb everything and take it all in. It's all so smooth and well transitioned that you really hit the nail on the head for the re-listen value.

Towards the end, after around the 7 minute mark. (The climatic build up) the song loses a bit of charm with a very strange and awkward sound that seems to derail the song slightly, but it is only for a very short period of time and you do bring it right back for the ending.

4Sound Quality Description
You have a great set of instruments at your disposal here. This is really professional quality work and I have no doubt in my mind I will see your name rolling off the credits list of some high budget movie in the not too distant future.

The instruments really gel together amazingly and there is nothing too jarring or out of place. Levels and production work is seriously above par. There is really not much I can say on this section of the review that isn't just going to be saying "Wow everything is great" so if you don't mind I'll just end this section on that note.

Wow, Everything is great.

5Does it work as a piece of music Description
As a whole this is an amazing piece of composition that would work fantastically as part of a cinematic score or game soundtrack. As the song develops it really took me through about three stages that seriously reminded me of some of my own personal favourite musicians of a similiar style.

In some places the song sounded very remeniscent of Mark Morgan who composed the soundtrack for the first two Fallout games, and at other points very similiar to Kurt W. Dekker who scored for the game "Arcanum." I know it is not much of a compliment to say "SOUNDS LIKE THIS GUY" and I feel kind of bad for doing it but believe me, in my eyes this is a great compliment.

The song is definitely a five star piece of work and overall I really have to congratulate you on creating something so in depth and instense. It really inspired me to want to write and create music and that's really the best compliment I can give the song.

Five Stars.
