1Overall Description
What to say, this is a VERY heartfelt song...it makes the Cure's early classically moody "chip-pop-ish" music look mellow in comparison. Very tight minimalist perfectly echoed drum setup where each note contains a melody-like amount of tone and emotions and jazz-like variations spice up the piece...it's amazing how much motion this track acheives with such few drums. The mood must be heard to be heard to believe...it rolls through chord tones like a jazz song, yet has such a smooth melodic nature it could qualify as "sugar pop" to anyone who likes that kind of simplicity. Basically the song has one very complex motive with very simple under-lyings, and moves it up and down through several moods and tones to the one main melody covers about 5 melodies worth of moods. Yes, it's bitpop...but its more emotionally striking than 99% of anything I've ever heard...the only half justifiable complaint I can think of that someone could give is that the drums and instruments don't carry lots of physical power/force IE you can't feel them in your chest...but that's irrelevant and virtually impossible in the bit-pop genre. This should serve as a testament towards musicians who still believe music is far and by large about emotion of fancy production tricks (that all too often end up doing little for emotion).

I wasn't expecting a second review as people generally don't care for or like chiptunes - its almost like people are "trained" to like are professional sounding recordings. I do thank you for taking the time out to review this though, it is very flattering.
