1Overall Description
Though not good it could be worse. Nevertheless the track is sub-par with synthetic, uninspired sound and an unfinished quality.

2Creativity Description
The melody and the mix don't add much to one's average NES Super Mario soundtrack. The melody, obviously based on a Mario melody, is dull and uninspired. The track doesn't add much if anything to the well known melody.

3Artistic License Description
The main instrument (guitar/banjo/?) sounds very synthetic, but that's fine. In contrast to that the background synth sound becomes annoying very quickly. Drum samples appear to be of varying quality between bad and mediocre.

4Arrangement Description
Arrangement works fairly well. You can easily guess which melody the artist based his track on. Transitions are quite smooth. The mountain principle (start with a few instruments and add more and more over time) adds some spice to the arrangement.
Nevertheless it is a bit cluttered and feels hurried and unfinished.

5Sound Quality Description
I guess the track is done using some sort of tracker (Modplug?) and some freely available samples. As it's difficult to produce anything halfway acceptable in terms of sound quality this track is already kind of an achievement.

6Does it work as a piece of music Description
Interestingly this track more or less works as a piece of music. I could actually imagine someone using a slightly modified/polished version of it for a simple game.
