1Overall Description
Bizarre, yes, but unbelievable deep melodically: comparing this melodic quality to that of BT's "Godspeed" wouldn't be unreasonable. :-) The intro takes a while to pick up but be patient as you will be generously rewarded.

2Creativity Description
Very solid, from the morphing of different parts of a synth sweep (starting at 0:24...very rare and unique technique)...my real gripe in this tune is up until 1:45 it sounds like an overly long intro and many listeners may fall asleep a bit before the near-orchestral climax that is the rest of the song happens around 1:45.
At 2:05 main piano melody hits with such depth, even with essentially no drums you feel compelled to raise your hands in the ear (btw this sounds a LOT like something the Floridian rave group Rabbit in The Moon would write in terms of melody) and at 3:50 a bunch of what sounds like muted guitar harmonics enter the mix as the tune drifts toward an ending in an overwhelmingly resolved orchestral mood.

I wish I could describe it better but, to hear the real thing, give it a download!

3Artistic License Description
Much the same as my comments in #2 the way this tune is set up after the intro ends is done in a such a confident orchestral way that it would do T. Kuusniemi (a movie soundtrack master on TIS) and Rabbit in The Moon equally proud.

4Arrangement Description
Again this is T. Kuusniemi-ish quality...the way the pads/strings, pianos, and harmonics are layered fill up all the octave/harmonic space and provide an unbelievable sense of openness and space...more so than virtually any song I've heard.

5Sound Quality Description
Yes there is a little bit of fuzzy-ness and dimness in the mix...but way instruments are arranged, panned, drift up/down across the frequency spectrum so smoothly do much to compensate for this. The backing synth-pad at 2:00 and over-buzziness of the sweep synth that comes in at the beginning seem to be more of the cause of any of the "static sound" that emerges from this piece, though, so tune those up a bit and it should be fine. :-)

6Does it work as a piece of music Description
While it's not quite new-genre material it is a very soulful and original collage that evokes a distinct sense of both peace and overwhelmed-ness (probably what you'd get if you were in space looking down over the earth). Especially after listening to Charris's heartfelt but also rather standard trance pieces this opened me to a new side of this artist...all I can say, regardless of what other stubborn-minded raters may say, is you are really onto something with shamelessly deep, imaginative pieces like this and KEEP GOING! :-)
