1Overall Description
If you are into dance tracks and listen to this one , you'll probably like it... Groovy background sound, accompanied with a happy tune on the main synth... kinda like black and white... That's not bad! This track shows the artist has potentials but as the track was over i was left with a strange feeling... One thought is , it definately could use some "facelift"... Let's take it from the beginning. Sound issues : Allthough the sound is quite good ,it gives an impression this is a tracker song (FT2 or MT2) If it really is , then a good job was done... Still , the background sawpad could use a few volume adjustments being that loud. That said , the hats are allmost totally covered by the rest of the track, so is the "clapy" snare that reaches to our ears only as a fuzzy sound when all chanells are on. Other than that , the main synth is also quite louder than i think it should , but i guess i saw that coming (having the sawpad so loud). The melodic structure is nice to listen but i'm not sure if i can explain this... The notes are constantly playing in some way like "2 notes per beat"... i have the feeling that the synth won't flow naturaly with the rest. It plays in a "robotic" way if i may say that. In some parts though it flows more naturaly , like 2:13 where the note is not "chopped". I hope you got my point. Then , what this track really lacks is structure... I believe 5-10 years ago , dance tracks used to start this way , no intro just "boom, main pattern , add the main synth and here we go..." Having in mind that things have really changed, i'd really like an intro in this , even if it was only a few seconds... During the track we find no special "resting points" something for the listener to chill for a couple of seconds and it is my humble opinion that this looong outro is just not fitting with the whole concept of the track. I really thought that your outro was a resting point , a waiting for that little something, that was about to come , so i was a bit disappointed the track ended there. Panning is good enough for me , track has a really good amount of depth and instruments sound stereo-enchanced enough. That would be all :)

2Does it work as a piece of music Description
Yes , it sure is a dance track , maybe not something we could hear nowadays , but i recall myself listening to these tracks back then , when music like [ATB - Till I Come] could put you on the dance floor, hopping your guts out... :D

All the artist asked for , was an overall evaluation of the track and still , i got in the "trouble" to write about everything... i don't understand how such a review could be given "neutral" feedback....
