| Techno is a genre that is based on repetition, so it's a bit hard to judge creativity melody-wise. The sounds and samples all sound pretty standard to my ears, with the classic snare and ride samples used, though there is variation with other samples, which is a good thing. With all dance-oriented music, it's hard to determine how the song really works until you hear it from a good PA in the dance floor, but I bet this would work well there too, as it delivers the things and sequences one is used to. Some deviation with the chord melody could make the tune more unique though, as now it doesn't really stand out. | ||

| Everything flows really well, with breakdowns and well-placed effects to keep the song from being too monotonous. | ||

| The kick could have a bit more warmth, as it sounds just slightly "trancey" to my ears - not a bad thing as such, but somehow the sound doesn't work as well as with a warmer one. Perhaps you could cut some of the snap of the kick off around 1500-200 hz to fix this, and slightly boost with a small curve around 50-100 hz. This is, of course, a matter of opinion too. The filtered chord that comes in at 2:12 sounds a bit muddy, though it doesn't really interfere with the other elements. Otherwise no complaints, and I really liked the atmospheric reverberated fx sprinkled here and there. | ||
