1Overall Description
This song has a definite feeling of despair in it, which reminds me of VNV Nation melody-wise. The first breakdown is really awesome and fits the mood well, kudos for the in-your-face reverb-delay in that :) After that I would've wished for some more in-your-faciness though, since as it is, the latter part doesn't elevate where it could with the stuff you have created beforehand. Soundwise, the kick is mixed too low (perhaps you could compress it a bit more and add some punch to the high-end "snap") and I feel that the elements could be spaced a bit more daringly in the stereo spectrum. Anyway, this is rather hypnotic, and sounds better with every consecutive listening, despite the somewhat generic sounds you have used - perhaps some tweaking in that department would help to create a more enthralling experience. All in all, for deep melodic techno fans this will surely work.
