1Overall Description
Not easy to review something you're not familiar with. Both the genre and the artist style. But I had to give it a try. And I don't regret it now (I hope neither you do, Din) as I was "forced" to pay much more attention to the track than just playlist it and listen to it a couple of times. And now, after a few listens, I'd dare to think I have a glimpse at Din's vision when he did this. And this track is "hiding" its true dimension to the casual listener. So please, take a moment, donwload it and play it on your Hi-Fi or with your headphones, this piece is definitely worth it!

2Creativity Description
My only minus: it does evolve over the 05'30" but more in term of variations than real changes. The combo of saturated synths, acid lines and heavy stomping beats with some "trancy-Tangerine-ish" pads towards the end (04'43") is a great idea. But I feel it was a start or a direction you'd have been into much more and fully developed your track to a higher level.

3Arrangement Description
It flows so well all the way. Transitions, breaks, all is thoroughly done and layered. Only thing would be your main saturated synth is dead center and often.. takes abit over the other instruments. And the beat is not enough percussive to me, considering the genre.

4Sound Quality Description
As said above, this saturated synth is your main instrument through out the whole track, and does "kill" other sounds now and then. Like after the break (02"17") it does cover your other instrus, panned left and right and somehow, we "lose" them in the overall rendering.

5Does it work as a piece of music Description
There's no wonder about it. This is well made, mastered and with a strong theme all the way. Fully developed. it could have been taken to another level, but maybe it wasn't Din's intention. And as is, it works perfectly!

Yes, makes sense not to overlap drumset and sub line. You work w/ a multiband compress?

That's probably because of the light distortion on the drumset. It could be punchier (there's some compression but not a bunch), but I also have to watch out for the near-sub bass line. Time to play some more >:)

Well, considering the genre, and the ambience you're painting in this piece, I've found the beat too "soft". I'd dare to say, maybe, lacking of some compression. But also, could be a choice made on purpose to balance your piece.

I'm glad you pointed out the main baritone synth being too loud. I've been wondering about that myself. Only point of confusion for me is the beat not being percussive enough. I'm not quite sure what you mean. All in all, a great review :D You don't give yourself enough credit ;)
