1Overall Description
Could be not the best Soem's track on TiS but nonetheless, this is still a good and solid trance track, almost flawless and with some quite pleasant synth lines. This is meant to be played loud and on a decent sound system. And to make you shake your hips! ;)

2Creativity Description
You have done more innovative or surprising tunes. Not that this one is bad in any way, but you stick with the same basse line and beat through out the whole track, and you have us used to a lot more changes, of ambience, of colors, of beats.

3Arrangement Description
Again, not your most surprising track. But it's not an easy thing to take listeners to a long journey, with a trance piece. There are some "rules" that come with this genre and it's quite uneasy to bend those rules to make something really new and fresh.
The panning/freq. modulation around 01'30" is pretty good, but it gets a bit extreme around 01'47" for a few seconds. And again around 02'18"-02'20"-ish.
And the percussion-like drum you start at 04"29", after the break.. Hmmm, they're sort of thrown at the listener's ears with less subtility than you usually have in your tracks. Once they've blent into the tune, it's all good. But during the first seconds, I've found them too "loud". Maybe a compression issue..
That's about it for the minus. Aside those minor things, it's all arranged and mastered pretty well.

4Sound Quality Description
I've played your track on different sound systems, and headphones. It seems it could use a little more contrast, in your final mastering. Sounds like there's some "veil" covering the whole orchestration, and making your instruments less crispy as usually.
And I was wondering if a little and subtle stereo expanding over your basse line wouldn't add some depth to your piece.
Other than this, all your instruments are, as always, picked wisely and tuned right on!

5Does it work as a piece of music Description
As all your tracks, this one has this "complete" feel. Nothing to add or change in your orchestration. And if any, the only fixings needed would be more in your arrangement. But this is works perfectly as is, I'm just being picky now :p

Ah, nice! It would be very cool to hear an old ft2 track of yours! - (You know my former alias, just search after it and you will find about 3 pages of songs here on TiS :P )

Ahahahah I know exactly how it feels! I might upload just one FT2 track, though. Just to share some old flavor stuff I've done. You might want to give us a sneak at what you were doing before, non? ;)

I appreciate you being picky, it helps a lot! -- I like many of my old track, even many of my chaotic ft2 tracks, but I just can't understand WHAT I was thinking sometimes ;)

I certainly hear you on this, as when browsing some old stuff on mine, I realize how "difficult" it'd be to update it without losing the original feeling. And anyway, as I said, I'm being picky now with your stuff, because you've shown top-quality in your productions already. ;)

When re-mastering this track I felt I didn't really have control over it. I did things to it when I created it that I can't change back without losing the "feeling". If I made it now it would have more of the changes you mention, more focus, better drums, better sound image. And yes, that bass is f*ckin flat.. could sure use some loving care :) . I didn't really know as much back then as I know now, I knew about musicmaking but much less about Reason and how to use it best.
