1Overall Description
Groovy, funky, catchy: this is a neat little tune to go on your iPod while going for a walk or just wandering about. Not as many motives as Barry usually puts in his pieces, but with the short time format, it's not an issue.

It might not be the most creative tune from Barry, and it certainly does not revolutionarize the genre, but it surely stands its grounds all the way. And bursts out some happy-jumpy feel though out the whole piece.

Arrangements are totally flawless, quite "conventional" but after all, this is the best way to build up a song that catches the attention. Some breaks here and there, drums are well played and filled in. And there a mood variation at mid-track (01'25") that makes the piece interesting all the way.

Instruments sound right on, drums, rhodes, percus (very nice lines), bass, some spacey synth hits here and there. And the vocals samples do add something to the track.

So, overall, the only "minus" to this tune is its relatively lack of originality. It wouldn't stand out in your freejazz/triphoppy collection, but it would certainly not ruin it either. This is professionally played, and mastered. And the lets-have-a-walk feel within works quite well. Nice track, already playlisted ;)
