1Overall Description
Every time I listen to a song, I have this annoying habit of always needing to picture some kind of event, or series of events, happening in order to fully appreciate it. This song gave me some interesting "visions" if you will. All of them were very David Lynch-esque. the feeling that I got from this song was one of a false sense of serenity. You think things are ok, but as the "story" progresses you find that things aren't quite what you were expecting. It creeps in and slowly takes hold. yeah. I like this song. My only contention is the drum track. see below for details.
 
2Creativity Description
if this song had no drums I think it would make an excellent ambient/industrial mash-up track. the drums are repeataive. They are good for introducing the song to the listener, but they seem to stay fairly stationary throughout. This is not to say that these kinds of drums are bad though. In my opinion, for this type of song, you could pitch the drums down a little (or a lot depending upon your preference) and make slight changes to each loop as the song progresses...whether it be effects wise or whatever. this is a lesson that was (and still is) hard to learn for me. variations on a theme. blah blah blah :)
 
3Artistic License Description
All the tones sound well balanced. I like the rumbling bass guitar that's all gritty, yet at the same time subtle enough to be noticed without overpowering. I have big problems with this in my music. hats off.

You're welcome. Yeah...Listening to the track a few more times I found that I was able to focus more on what was going on in the melody and ambience, and what changes where being made there. I think I needed to "get used" to the song. AMENDMENT: I, Orkabot, being of sound mind and body, do hereby state that from this point forward the paltry 4 star rating that was so shamefully given to this musicians song "Haze" be officially ignored. In it's place I would like to submit a more gooder rating of 4.875 stars. This is my wish. -Orkabot-
