| 1 | Overall ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| A progressive rock art piece following the footsteps of Yes, ELP and Pink Floyd. The song begins with a powerful riff with piano and drums, descending to a smooth piano interlude followed by a distorted-guitar-like lead. The first 2 minutes are instrumental and then the vocals come in. All in all, very interesting and varying piece of music. | ||
| 2 | Creativity ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| The influence of the classic progressive rock bands like Yes and Emerson Lake & Palmer can be heard but all in all the composition sounds very unique and most of all interesting, as most prog compositions usually tend to. The song has also a meaningful message which is sent to the listener through the lyrics. | ||
| 3 | Arrangement ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| The arrangement consists of various themes, ranging from punchy riffs to beautiful and mellow piano passages, all flowing smoothly one after another. The highlights for me are the imrovisations like the analog synth lead solo in the end. Now when I think about it the ending is a little too quick maybe. After the solo the singer could do the chorus one more time or the pianist could do some sort of a smooth fade out or something. ;) | ||
| 4 | Sound Quality ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| All instruments sound really good. I liked especially the pianos but the dist. guitar lead could have been somehow better. Of course, as always, real electric guitar would be the thing here too. | ||
| 5 | Vocals ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| The singer is really emotionally in this song and with the vocals the message of the song, the story, is told to listeners. The singing is technically nothing breathtaking but it gets the job well done. | ||
| 6 | Does it work as a piece of music ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| Yes, it definitely works as a piece of music! | ||
