1Overall Description
A very well made, horror-type piece with a slight oriental feel to it. It starts out with a tender, erie passage with a lead melody played by an even erier sounding string instrument, which fits the theme perfectly. Suddenly, heavy tremolos by the double basses take over, carrying a layer of light tremolo violins on top, creating a tension. The piece now holds a darker, more powerful sound. You have gone from wandering the opaque, misty forest to being chased by the horrendous creatures that dwell within it. Next, a section of gut-ramming horns in harmony with some violins takes the piece to its climax, putting the oriental feel aside and instead, bringing in a "Mordor"-like atmosphere. Then, the tension disappears as suddenly as it came, leaving us alone in the dark forest again. The erie violin is back, reminding us that we are lost in these woods forever...
Had it not been for its short duration, this song would most probably have received the highest score. However, it does not last long enough, or hold enough content, to give me a top score experience. As written in the song descritption, the author is aware of this and left the piece short on purpose.

2Creativity Description
An original piece with a creative mind behind it. I always feel that music following a theme always seems more creative. Had this piece been longer, more creativity could have been put into it and the creativity score would have been higher.

3Arrangement Description
Even short pieces can receive a 5 in arrangement, especially if they are this impressively put together.
All instruments go very well together. The creepy string lead in the beginning sets the theme immediately and the constantly playing celesta/glockenspiel-like instrument may be a bit clichée, but works very well to build up the right atmosphere. The tremolo double basses, which by the way play my favorite part of this piece, adds character to the song and increases its originallity. The transitions were sudden, but effectful, even though the ending may have been a bit too abrupt (I'm guessing the song may be loopable, but its hard to tell when listening to it on my MP3-player).

4Sound Quality Description
Not much to say, the sound quality (to me) is near perfect and sounds very authentic. The bass may be a bit muddy, but perhaps my MP3-player is to blame for that, so I will not let it affect my review.

5Does it work as a piece of music Description
It absolutely does. It would work perfect in any type of RPG or movie, but can because of its short duration be a little less interesting to just sit down and listen to, even though it is very intriguing the first few listens.
