1Overall Description
A basic chiptune piece with some great features and some questionable ones. Let's start with the good parts. At 24 seconds, a pitch sliding lead melody starts playing. The same melody repeats at 30 seconds, now with an upper harmony on top. This lead melody is my favorite part of this song. At first, I found it slightly annoying, but with a few listens I came to like it and I really think it adds originallity to the tune. The melodies in general are good and typical, hummable chip melodies. Some passages are somewhat complex, containing a lot of notes playing different scales, giving the tune a jazzy, professional sound.
Now some downsides: The bass-line (and thus the chord progression) is virtually the same through out the entire tune. Though not noticable at first, it makes the song feel monotonous after a while. Using the same chord progression through out an entire piece leaves little room for variation and will almost always result in a less interesting listening experience.

2Creativity Description
It is hard to make chiptunes sound creative these days and it would take a damn good one to really stand out. Thanks to the sliding pitch melodies, this one has some originallity and is easy to recognize and remember. Unfortunately, this is not enough to earn a real high score in this section.
