1Overall Description
A short track featuring a good ol'timey chip-sounding synth riff and a bouncy, danceable rhythm. Although it's fairly competently put together, it needs either greater rhythmic complexity or a stronger melodic structure - preferrably both - to avoid sounding like a generic backing track. But there is plenty to build on here.

2Creativity Description
The track features some nice ideas and touches - the C-64 synth is a nice touch, for instance, and definitely something to build a song on. Unfortunately, while what's here is done competently, I don't hear much that hasn't been done before - and done better. I keep wanting to hear something more. When you also take into account that the opening chord sequence is repeated throughout the song's entire length, what starts as a promising premise ends up sadly unfulfilled.

3Artistic License Description
In my opinion, it's not that the track doesn't sound good, it's that it lacks a stronger foundation. Now, you can choose to use the existing structure to build a stronger melody - breaking up the chord sequence would do wonders, for instance; adding a lead instrument might also help a great deal. But you can also go the other way, and ignore the melodic drawbacks - but in that case a lot more variations and complexity is needed, particularily in the rhythm department, to really lift this song.

4Arrangement Description
Most arrangement choices are appropriate for the genre and the tune flows quite well. The transitions are smooth, and a phasing bass line is a welcome part of the overall sound. However, as pointed out above, there is too much repetition and the track is really screaming for something to grab the listener's attention. Also, the ending is a little abrupt for my tastes.

5Sound Quality Description
Production values on this track are solid, and ultimately its strongest point. The overall soundscape is relatively simple, without too much going on, yet it sounds full enough. The bass drum in particular has a nice and thick sound. Some reverb is added here and there, which also adds to the atmosphere.
