1Overall Description
Extremely stark and pensive piece that never quite manages to fulfill its promise. Unfortunately, not enough attention to detail means that the song ends up sounding unfinished. Still, it's well worth the download simply for the gorgeous opening, which sounds very much like something someone like Labradford might have done.

2Creativity Description
Although there's nothing entirely new here, there's plenty of experimenting with chords, nice harmony variations and some inventive percussion to maintain interest throughout. Solid work.

3Arrangement Description
The song starts out slowly with two guitars accompanied by haunting voices, and during the opening two and a half minutes creates a great mood, ranking proudly among the very best I've heard out of TiS recently. The twin guitar motif is then more or less discarded in favour of a single strummedguitar and some percussion. Surprisingly, as the song gains in intensity, it seems to lose in momentum. There could be a number of reasons for this, but one of the main ones would be that the guitar sounds sloppily played and recorded at times, which really derails my attention. The song does pick up pace towards the end, and while the guitar part is very competently paced and structured, the song would benefit greatly from more attention to detail. In addition, there's no need to have almost a full minute of total silence tacked onto the end unless one want to give the impression that one didn't listen through it before uploading. :P

4Sound Quality Description
The sound quality is not pristine - there's a little hiss here and there, especially during the quiet parts, but nothing too severe. When the guitar is featured more prominently in the second part, there's evidence of peaking, which is a no-no as far as I'm concerned. In general though, the sound is airy and crisp, and there's good stereo spread on the voices and percussion.

5Does it work as a piece of music Description
In my view, it ranks as a *very* successful experiment, but doesn't quite cut it as an end product - more a demo than a finished song, you might say.
