This is as creative as the next trance top 100 collection, very basic stuff here with some leads that are dissonant and not wellchosen. I can't really see any artist in here, just a mediocre copycat of others.

4Arrangement Description
The arrangement is very standard trance, the melodies aren't very carefully chosen and sometimes in wrong keys.
 
5Sound Quality Description
The laughing guy in the intro is a bit silly. The standard trance beat isn't very punchy. The overall volume is pretty low. The sounds don't blend together at all. At 1,5 minute it's even terribly dissonant. The instruments have no panning, no tuning, the production quality is considerably low on this one.
 
6Does it work as a piece of music Description
It works to the extend one might say it's consistent.

Judging by your comments I think your rating overall was a star too low, you can't combine "mediocre" with a one star rating, now can you? Unless you count in the word "copycat", that is. ;) But, I've had a track recieving top rating from one person and being torn down by the next myself, it's not fun but if you read the comments in this review you'll see that it's actually quite constructive. Not everybody will cuddle it in with "maybe", "IMHO" and "I'm sorry my dear cute friend, but..."

Actually I have to agree with the review here, the track is filled with issues everywhere, ie the volume doubling which happens in some instances of the song. Overall, it's a pretty average song...

Old TiS had it's issues, I've seen more stuff around there that was a lot worse than your song and getting high scores. Judge the review please and don't take this personal. I'm giving enough pinpointers here to make great 2007-version ;)

woaa that review is totally tearing the song appart.. that hurts. I do agree that the song isnt very creative.. and yes.. the trance beat isn't very punchy.. and this could be fixed easily.

Ok thanks for your review... But dit you know this song was rated with a 9 in the old TiS... Funny that now it is rated with a extreem low score!
