1Overall Description
A promising slice of laidback rhythms and shimmering synths. Not enough variation and the obvious lack of a climax does detract from the overall listening enjoyment, however. There are also a couple of issues with the sound quality that could have been addressed.
2Creativity Description
There is not a lot of variation here, and that is probably the weakest point of this song, because otherwise I really like the mood it creates. More changes in chords (the same two chords are used all the way thorugh) woula have gone a long way.
3Arrangement Description
There is good progression throughout, and some sound effects help to freshen up the sound. The opening rhythm shows great promise, but unfortunately never really gets going. Like I mentioned above, the song suffers from an obvious climax of sorts. It doesn't have to be a huge, overblown climax, just a place where you can clearly identify that the sound is slightly busier than in the rest of the track.
4Sound Quality Description
The sound is quite weak in the higher frequencies, and the drums have a very thin sound to them. Other than that, the instruments add upp to a nicely moody - if slightly lacklustre - soundscape.
