| I too want to strive towards that "professional" quality. I haven't gotten there yet. But here's some thoughts anyways, although i could use some of these suggestions myself :): Moog-type base at the beginning sounded a bit too un-touched. Also some of the hat samples could've used more editing too. maybe adding some reverb to let them resonate longer would've helped possibly. You are great at making different parts out of your theme (creativity is not an issue), but i think you would benefit from more complex transitions between some of these parts. One last suggestion, perhaps experiment with using filtered noise and/or adding other sound effects. it seems alot of the "pros" do this sort of thing. Musically you have no troubles. I especially loved the direction it took at 2:12. So Musically and Creatively you should have no worries. Anyways, i hope this helps or at least makes sense... | ||
