1Overall Description
Simplistic ambient melody driven by piano and some lush synths. A couple of sound quality issues are the main drawbacks to this song, but it ends up being quite enjoyable nevertheless.
 
2Creativity Description
Although there isn't much in this song that I haven't heard from Likuid before, I like the unorthodox chord changes on the piano. Perhaps the best testament to the creativity of this song is that despite a real lack of variation in melody, the song never really gets boring - probably because enough attention has been paid to the details.
 
3Arrangement Description
The opening soundscape is very evocative, and the introduction of a piano does wonders for the development of this song. There is not much change throughout, but that doesn't become much of an objection. The drums, however, come in with no real introduction, and in my opinion they are introduced a little prematurely - it gives us a situation where the song actually nearly reaches its peak in intensity within the first minute, and that makes the pacing of the song harder. Also, a lot of the synths are swamped in reverb and sound a little "muddy", if that makes sense - I'd like more clarity of sound.
 
4Sound Quality Description
There is no real fullness to the bass, and in most of the song there is no bass whatsoever. There also isn't enough to the higher frequencies apart from in the drums. On some of the instruments that actually sounds like a good thing, as I notice some high-end distortion to the main synth in the left channel, and the occasional pop and crackle. On the rare occasion you notice that a synth pad such as this one is distorted, it's often a good idea to replace it entirely. Otherwise, the instruments are of high quality. A couple of the synths sound a little bit on the cheap side, but as long as it works, that's fine.
 
5Does it work as a piece of music Description
It does. It creates a very nice atmosphere throughout.
