1Overall Description
This is a song with a very unfinished feel. After a very good intro that sets a great mood and seems to hold the promise of things to come, things instead just settle down and maintain the same melody and low intensity throughout. I'm less than impressed with the rhythm track, which features a bass drum/hihat, and a snare and clap thrown in at regular intervals as the only variations. To be fair, though, the opening ambience holds ecxellent promise - with some adjustments and additions, this could turn into a great track.

2Creativity Description
Although I admit that the synth lines are competently done, there is really not much to admire here. With an arrangement as sparse as this one, it's going to take something special to keep the listener's interest for long. As far as I can hear, very little effort is put into variations throughout. I'll award a plus for some unorthodox chord changes, but in the end I'm left wanting more in this song.

3Arrangement Description
I can honestly say that I was disappointed with this track, arrangement-wise. The intro is very nicely done, but unfortunately the rest of the song fails to deliver on the same note. As it is, the song taken as a whole sounds like a backing track of sorts; it sounds thin and is definitely lacking a bass line and a more prominent lead. I'm also left wondering if a fade-down/fade-up in the middle of the track is really a good idea, especially since the two halves sound more or less exactly the same.

4Sound Quality Description
Even though a bass drum is present through much of the piece, there is no real fullness to it, and in fact, there is almost no actual bass present in the overall mix at all. To my ears, this is a serious detriment to this song. The synths that are used, however, are of high quality and particularly the most prominently used synth has a nice, shimmering, quality to it.

5Does it work as a piece of music Description
Despite the apparent flaws it still kind of does, but only half-way.
