| 1 | Overall ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| This song has roots in the old 90's hardcore rave scene. However, that genre is merely the embryo of what this song is in terms of genre. It's basically an extremely melodical variant of hardcore trance. Which of course means that it has pieces of trance, hardcore, newstyle and orchestral melodies that all form a very interesting tapestry to listen to. | ||
| 2 | Creativity ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| This song is allover the place in terms of melodies, it's hard as duck (ehehe) and it's really unrelenting in it's constant phasing from one theme to another. Then as a sort of finale, the song goes into super overdrive at the ending and really grits it into the speakers so to speak. | ||
| 3 | Arrangement ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| This arrangement is flawless, it's basically flowing freely from one theme to another and the end result is a hypnotical song which holds your attention for it's entire duration. All the samples are balanced well and the whole soundscape is massive indeed. | ||
| 4 | Does it work as a piece of music ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Description |
| This does work very well as a song, in fact it shines as a song rarely does in this time and age. The synergy between hard and mellow is perfectly balanced and in the end when the song ends, you'll probably feel like I did, overwhelmed and ecstatic.. ... and you'll hit that "play" button again :) | ||
