1Overall Description
If there is one thing I've come to love since I began tracking years ago, it's the sound of a good piece of video game targeted music. I am throughly certain that I will never hear enough of this music, which in a way, so much reminds me of a Robert Prince with a fusion of funk.

While I am not familiar with the original by Zepsi, I don't think it takes much to imagine what Roncli has done to spice things up. This piece takes a hint of the repetitive (and oh so catchy) nature of many soundtracks from the era of MIDI and Amiga style music and mixes it up with a fresh beat and chill emotion.

If you're one for video game music, or if you're a fan of B.P. (don't be ashamed, who isn't?), then you've struck gold with "New Zepsi Industries."

Disclaimer: I might be the only man alive with old FM style Bobby Prince music on my iPod that I jam to in the car, despite it's repetitive nature. I say rock on, Duke!

2Arrangement Description
The only thing lacking, here, and in the entire mix, are smooth catchy transitions (like we found in Roncli's "Module Sixteen"). How much can we chalk up to the original, and how much can we say it was Roncli's doing? Most transitions are subtle percussion variations that keep things moving, which is good, but I'm left wanting more.

Despite the transitions, everything else is spot on with this mix. Gorgeous mixing, a relaxing yet still moving vibe. What more could you want?

3Sound Quality Description
Reverb, filters, delay, oh my! This is, in my opinion, what keeps things moving and interesting. No complaints here.

A bit of history on this song: This song had been in my completed directory for a long time, in fact it is one of the first songs I had completed in Reason. I made it because I liked the original song from the game #modarchive Story (<3 Nifflas!), and felt it would be good to extend in a full production. Really the only stuff I added was the riff for the progression change. Also, this is yet another tracked file to Reason conversion. The original, of course, was about a minute long to fit the game, and all that was in it was about the first minute of this piece, broken up into two sections that were used as the game needed them. I really dig this melody, Zepsi (and heck, all the artists in #mas) did a great job with it.
