Depends if you listen to Atari ST music, the Yamaha chip has pretty loud white noise in there.

yes, the percussion/drum was not 'in that era'. :) I just trying to make a little experiment on the drum, make it more flexible while try no to losing the chip style (is it works? hehe). As you can hear in each end of bars part, I made the drum variation so naive with it's fill-in. Like a boy, instinctively, beat the snare & tom tom. Sorry for my bad english ;) btw, thanks for the comment :)

These all have great melodies to them, but I don't ever remember the percussion being *that* harsh back in the day.
