Artist's description:
Henriette recorded vocals over trepain's "Weeble Wobble" one day, I liked the vocals and did my own totally different production, kinda eliminating Trepain's part for this mix at least. ;)

Oh, and she sew the dress she's wearing on the picture herself. Girl's got talent!

Contributors:
the khin (production and arrangement),
trepain (for the original that spawned Henriette's vocals),
Henriette Isabella Berggren (vocals and lyrics)

Chip-pop, Chip-hop, or whatever you want to call this magical combination, should very well be the next big thing. This catchy new sound fuses together the chip sound most of us in the community of co... Read full review

Wow- listening to this song is like playing Commodore 64 games in heaven. What would otherwise seem like cheesey chiptune samples are elevated here by the vocals to a divine height. There is an abso... Read full review

I agree with lilelk: the output is quite amazing. The blonde girl is even better ;-)

I wouldn't expect a chiptune to work well with vocals, but this one does - brilliantly - just that.

this is a great piece of work. even if theres only a bassdrum, snare, bass chip and occasional arpeggios as a base; of course along with a very interesting vocal, it offers alot more than one would expect. love the exceptionally minimal sound :) */clap*

The funny thing is, this track was never meant to be released as I deemed it "unfinished" due to comments from Henriette herself. She liked the vocal production, but felt the chip sounds was too minimal, something I liked myself. Buut, I went against my best judgement and released it anyway. Really surprised by the praise it has recieved but I'm definetly happy as I DO see it as finished! Thanks guys. :)

Wow. Nice work thekhin. These vocals by Henriette, well who would have thought they could be mixed so well with cheesy 8 bit sid sounds. Not me. At first I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Almost makes me wish I still had my real commodore 64 to mess with the sid chip again instead of my emulator.

Oh yeah! Really good vocals! The mix between "normal" vocals and chip just blows my mind here! Wonderful!

Mastering such a good song from so basically cheap sounds, mixed up in a tremendous way with such an heavenly voice seems to be quite a miracle, and for sure a fine art ! Once again one can tell maximum talent from minimum skills !
