Artist's description:
Uploaded on request. This is the only of my songs here on TiS which is not made with FastTracker 2.

This track was recorded in 2004-2005 using Reason, and it was an attempt to create simple and traditional melodic trance. The song got a lot of airtime on DI.fm after the release and is today one of the most downloaded of my songs. It is also one of my latest tracks since I haven't recorded any new music since 2005. However, I am planning to change during the forthcoming winter... :)

"Remember this day" is actually somewhat similar to Kaveh Azizi's remix of "Into my dream" as well, so if Andact is anywhere near that mood I'm more than happy!

Andact is a couple of years old, and it was never intended to keep up with the classic emotional touch of TSEC and Lagoona. It was made to be simple and basic melodic trance, just to see if I could come close to the style I liked to listen to. I listened to Edzes track and it had several similarities. If you compare "Andact" to that song, then I've managed to create that calm and relaxed trance song that I wanted to do. :)

This sounds profoundly like something Edzes (another artist on this site) would make...very very similar mood and fades to his track "Remember This Day" esp. in the intro with the piano part (although I figured Andreas likely got there first, whoever did it could easy be a beautiful example of one musician inspiring/being-inspired-by an other)... The arpeggios to the main part are a bit standard to impress me (actually one thing I loved about the TSEC songs were the "purely emotional" non-standard lead arrangements). Combining the degree of technical skill in this track, particularly with the echoes, break-beat LPF fade-ins, and sparkling-ly clear filtered (each instrument fully EQ'd into different frequency ranges it appears) layers with the playful individuality of the TSEC tracks would make something I'd easily consider a 5, as of now though I'm just dropping some hopefully somewhat useful "food for thought" without actually rating the track (what a scary thought) :-)
