Artist's description:
Okay, so I'm working on this song for my 'band.' This is kind of the same idea as you hear in "Let it Live," with some very obvious differences. It's not glitchy, it's not rocky, but it's hiphop. :o

I guess I'm just looking for feedback to help build on the song :D
Anyway, it's definitely not done, but let me know what you think.

Very addictive (as expected from TwiTerror's Poolside tracks), but with a refreshingly experimental edge that puts it a step above other Poolside tracks. Has a smooth hip-hop feel, nothing hard... Read full review

Done very professional. There are no flaws. Everything is in time. Everything is clear. Some experimental style stuff but still in the realm of traditional harmony. This song is electric.... Read full review

The music sounds fresh, but I miss the melody in it. This should work fine as an intro to the song though. Your own voice does match the instruments so it's a good choice. Try to work with the depth of the music.

Very very good so far. Perhaps build up the beat a little, during the chorus add some hi hats and a grungy sine or square wave bass. If you're worried not being able to build on it further, to take it to a say 3 or 4 minute mark, try adding in a bridge (you've already got the verses and chorus), it'll add more variation to the track. Additionally, nice vocals - if you're feeling risky, add a beefy retrigg to parts of it! {

I don't normally like rap, but this is pretty good. I'm leaning toward heavy, crunchy guitars backed up with some staccato synth work. >:D

You think so? Going crazy rock with it? I like the idea, I never really thought to go that direction. But as it is I am stumped. (:

Okay so it pretty much sounds like an intro as is. It definitely needs to kick it into high gear with some electric guitars or some scratchy type of sounds. Sharp-sounding drums would be good too. I like it so far though.

kinda.. fresh. thought the drums could use a bit more variations, some of those stuttering hats? i dunnooo. vocal fx feels smooooth. (and weird! in a good way) make's me want more.

Considering it’s hip-hop, it’s pretty good so far :)
