Album:
Not quite finished... (Track #2)

Artist's description:
I need to get this song out of my hair and let someone else give me their take on it. My main concern is at 3:04-ish, where I change gears. How does it sound? Does it fit with the first part or does it sound like the next song starting up? Should I keep it? If so, should I hint at it earlier on in the first part? Should I break the monotony of the first part more?

What is your name? What is your quest? What is your favorite color?

This is a dark sounding industrial tune with slow progression throughout the song. The simple yet catchy melody is perfect and the rhythm is excellent. Overall the song is fantastic but needs a prop... Read full review

This is a chunky, strong industrial track through and through, with juuuust the right amount of crunchy distortion to contrast with just the right amount of hi-treble synths. I hear some subtle funk ... Read full review

Very cool tune! I like the way, how you build up tension. In my opinion the break fits in very well, but as you probably know already, I like "weird" song structures – which yours is definitely not. *g*

This is actually pretty cool, the second part has a very Goa-type edge to it...the smooth Goa synths (specifically the super-smooth one at 3:40) and purposefully noisy drums give a good, strong contrast...my recommendation in you take advantage of this and completely drop the beat at one point after these synths hit in and go into some psychedelic trance/ambient breakdowns, perhaps with a half-time beat, then hit back with the main beat full force. If you compare Astral Projection's "Dancing Galaxy", the ambient version of the song vs. the hard goa-trance version, it should hopefully yield some inspiration. In effect, in some ways I think this song would sound best as "two songs in one"...and in some parts you are already "stuck" somewhere half-way between goa/industrial/goa-ambient...don't be afraid to stretch between these I'm convinced you can make them "fit" quite well. :-)

You know what? I quite like the key change you added. Mind you i've always been a massive fan of industrial music.. and you're doing a superb job here. This track has so much potential! I just see hazy factories burning away at dusk. Keep it up, you're going somewhere with this! After the three minute mark, the dynamics of the song only change slightly, so it's within the borders - and it's damn catchy!

Everything floats and blends fine. Mystic sound all the way, at 03:04 the change of gear is noticeable, but in a good manner. It sounds a bit different but considering its atmospherics with the mystic and shape of the sound it suites the first part just fine. What i mean with mystic in the first part of music is that it reminds me of alien life forms, unknown alien form and the danger aliens can have. The first part is not much melodic based and instead floats with metallic and cold sounds. The second part was more melodic for me, also this part reminded me of mystic in a way of historic form with victorious knights, vicious wizards and dragon tales................ good music all in all, go on with it.
