Album:
Dr. Watson on practical gardening (Track #1)

Artist's description:
This is the track from the one track album with the same name: "Dr. Watson on Practical Gardening LP"

Although the tune itself is only 5:22 long, the album is an estimated 70 minutes. Just like a classical composer who writes sheet music with comments on how to perform his piece, I attach listening instructions.

1. First time you play the tune, you should use headphones which you will not put on, but leave them near you on the table. Set the volume of your mp3 player to about 50% and listen through the whole track. You will hear muffled sounds, bits of this and that.
2. Then you can put on the headphones or use speakers and listen through the tune the usual way.
3. After that, as the tune finished playing, please maintain the mood of the tune for some time. Sit still and try not to think. Imagine a weird place you've just been to, but don't make any conclusions.
4. When your mind is tired of the above, please go make a cup of strong tea and return to your music system. Put the tune on again and listen to it at about 20% volume while sipping tea. Tea must be without sugar.
5. As the tune finished playing, go and get rid of the tea, if there is still some left in your cup. Clean the cup and put it away.
6. For some time don't do anything but circle the room. It is important to keep your mind clear of any thoughts - no thinking about job, plans for the evening, not even about your girlfriend. Try to feel yourself an integral part of the world. Occasionally go back to remembering the atmosphere of the tune. It is also a world, but a far away one.
7. If you like to touch upon that far away world again, you can listen to the tune as much times as you want without restrictions. Somewhere at this point the album is considered to end.

The length of the album varies from person to person. Usually the time goes like this:
1. 5:22
2. 5:22
3. 3-7 mins
4. 7-15 mins (depending on how long you prepare the tea)
5. 2-10 mins (depending on how fast you clean the cup)
6. 5-50 mins but usually somewhere around 20
7. undefined but usually either 0 or 5:22 or 10:44

The idea of the album is to stress the ambiguity of time and sensation. The attention of the listener is drawn to life itself, to existance, to the sensation of "just being here" with all the activity, worries and thoughts put aside. The importance of not rushing through life is underlined.

Soundeffects!! The song basically is just that. Most songs have a unique combination of melodies and rythem that make the song stand out from the others in a postive or negative way. This song is not ... Read full review

You're either completely crazy or hysterically funny- either way, it's great. I love the instructions for listening to this song. I didn't exactly follow them, but I still enjoyed the tune. Great soundscape.
