Artist's description:
Once again, written during a period of my life I'd rather not be in...

I'm faced with a pretty difficult decision in the coming weeks, a decision that will ultimately shape my entire future, but a decision that which ever way it goes, I lose.

The Phoenix is a mythical bird that rose from it's own ashes, and I believe that one day I will rise again from my depths of despair, and become whom I used to be and whom I'm meant to be. I've just got to be headstrong, and do what is right for me.

This tune follows the cycle of the phoenix... The first section represents the phoenix in flight, graceful and elegant. At around 2:30, the phoenix has burnt to a crisp.....only to start to rise from the ashes, and resume flight....

I truely believe I will come full circle, just like the phoenix, and to that hope I cling, hanging in here each and every day.

Thanks for the kind words 33 - I suck at mixing/mastering.... thats for sound engineers, not musicians :D

Pretty nice track, imaginative, rock solid structure, cool ambience! I really liked the way it turned out. Maybe, what would be left to do would be a nicer mixing/mastering :P

I see you have discovered that piano recently talks to you and about your feelings. Great choice just like the music written here. That's the spirit Slammy, you should think, act and be the Phoenix.

A sad, yet uplifting song, true to what you wanted to convey. The pad progression in the first half of the song is gorgeous. I wish you all the best Slammy.
