Artist's description:
This tune was made as a joke for the thread:
http://www.traxinspace.com/discussions/suggestions/view/403?w=all&p age=2

solo uploaded a hilarious pic of the "Four Canary Massacre" that consisted of an electric bass, upright bass, drums, tetris, and four canary family members(thecanary on tetris) playing each instrument in front of a wild and crazy crowd.

This song only consists of the above instruments mentioned. The drums are meant to be insane, and this is in no way anything what D'n'B is... not even remotely :)

Tetris music and sound effects courtesy of Nestopia (http://nestopia.sourceforge.net/). The tetris music was in a weird BPM and was hard to get quite right, so I had to do a lot of splicing to keep it in time (which isn't too noticable, I almost matched the BPM, it's ~75.1).

I had to listen to the tetris music a bunch of times to program both basses to play with it just right. I impressed myself by how much I was able to match the pitch of each note on the first try...

Also, the end of the song is absolutely *off the wall* and I couldn't get both basses to play with the music just right, but it worked out perfect because it's humor after all.

Contributors:
solo for the hilarious pic hence gave birth to the idea for this song.
thecanary for without him being a victim of solo's photoshop schemes, this song wouldn't exist.

Yeah I remember discovering pong on a ferry ride to Victoria Island BC. Played Space Invaders the day it arrived at pier 39 in San Francisco. I'm a gamer ancient one.

Holy crap you're alive :) I agree - tetris rocks. Too bad I suck at it, maybe that's why I was a horrible truck loader when I worked at UPS ^_^

I love tetris... I think tetris is the only game that's appeared in some shape or form on almost every console released since the NES.

True, but how many young bloods ever play a good game of Atari "Ping Pong" when it first came out? Beep. Booop.

heehaw. Actually, it's the sound of Tchaikovsky giving the finger as he detested this song. What an irony, the most famous of your songs and you absolutely hate it. :)

Oh, and I loved tetris too ^_^ ... played it on the gameboy most frequently. Spinach color graphics FTW. - Haha I bet Tchaikovsky rolled over at 300 BPM at the end of this track :)

lol I'm glad everyone enjoyed this... it was kickass fun writing. I kept picturing the photo of the massacre and there's thecanary in the corner getting angry because he's losing. Now that I think of it, I should have added an additional track of him pounding on the table and screaming obscenities at his laptop. I figured I'd make the drums absolutely crazy to portray the speed of D'n'B, and I think I exceeded it by light speed. :D

I don't know if anyone else heard it, but in the background I caught the sound of Tchaikovsky rolling over in his grave :O

Lol this is actually pretty cool - I think I'll go back for the next FCM gig. As far as being psychic about canary playing tetris - nope if you're the right age EVERYONE played some variant of tetris yes EVERYONE.

Cool game-ish kind of tune, that was actually lots of fun listening to. The songs name is absolutely one of the coolest ever.

Fun little tune! Me likes it! Strangely enough, I did actually used to be an avid fan of Tetris (though how Solo happens to know that escapes me).
