Artist's description:
This is a short little thing I wrote for a project in a MIDI class using Sonar. I had hoped to make it into something longer, since it kind of sounds like it's the intro to something more but just kind of stops, but the class is ending so I'm losing access to Sonar and won't be working with it anytime soon. Come to think of it, that's kind of the theme with this project. It's short because I had to turn it in, and it isn't getting any longer because I'm out of ideas for now and class is over. Huh. Oh well, I enjoyed making it, and I hope some of you guys will enjoy it too.

The observant among you will notice influences from Future Crew, since I spent the week I wrote this song pretty much blasting them constantly. Particularly "Ice Frontier" by Skaven. I love that song.

This song's title means nothing. I whacked the keyboard and 'avz' is what came out :)

This song is really chilling. Like a pond of Ice or something. There are alot of calm in the melody. You feel like you're actually in a different place. Weird, but most songs don't have that typ... Read full review

I really hope the people down at the lab grant you more time to finish this. I am definately one who would like to see this one finished.

Nice intro this one is. This could be the ground zero of something huge, if you put more time into it. Whether you do or not this short piece of music was actually nice to listen to and somehow relaxing, kind of like a chilled coke on a really hot summer day.

I'd be honored! I just uploaded the source .CWP file. I think that should be all you need.

Ahh - good! I'm definitely eager to see this one go somewhere. I have Sonar... definitely a nice piece of software. If you don't think you will be able to finish this anytime soon (class over, byebye Sonar), I'd be interested in doing something with it... :D

Oh I know... I really want this song to go somewhere. I definitely have the project file. Soon as I get a chance to play with Sonar again I think I'm going to have it spit out a MIDI file with all the sequence info... I didn't think of it in time today. I'm glad you liked it!

It's a shame you can't finish it. It's relaxing and rather enjoyable. I felt it was starting to build up and transform into a wonderful song, but it promptly keeled over. I hope you got to keep the project file? Hah, I like how you came up with the name. :)
