Artist's description:
After doing D'n'B Tetris and having fun writing it, I decided to try taking one of my all-time favorite games and making it "reborn."

I took the original music, listened to each wave track (square 1, square 2, and triangle) and duplicated it exactly how it was (matched the BPM, pitch, and everything) - except I used two acoustic guitars for the leads and a square bass for the bass line. I went with the square synth bass instead of a real one because I wanted to partially keep that feel that it is an old school game after all - and I think it fit the best too. The drums are an acoustic set.

The intro contains the original music and is a bit clever :D. The only sound effects I used were in the intro, this was intentional. I didn't want to take away from the music with sound effects. This tune has some of my best drum work - and without the use of toms (intentional).

About 3/4 of the way through, expect a surprise :D

This was so much fun to write. I may do more of these...

Shhh! You gave away the secret! lol. Atari was THE console first, then NES wiped the floor with it and ran strong for many years. Then the battle between Sega Genesis and SNES began, too bad Sega didn't last as a console maker. I enjoyed the Genesis very much, more so than the SNES. ^_^

Thanks friend! Haha yeah I did the same. Good ol' SMB. I have many fond memories of playing the NES with friends and family. This brings back all of those memories in a massive heaping flood.

Awww, you ran out of time :( Great way to revisit a classic. Wow, I remember when Nintendo was THE console in the US...I'm getting old :/ Someone needs to bust out the SEGA remixes >:)

WoooW Nintendo couldn't do it better. Damn good job friend. I remember going through the game many times even after I rescued the princess, just to get to know every corner of the game and all those secret passages. What a great music you've done here as it instantly took me back to those days, and now I have this wide smile on my face ;o). Thank you.
