Artist's description:
This is for a different project I'm involved with. I may end up keeping the song this short, but I'll probably expand and build on the theme.

Picture yourself outside with someone you love in the moonlight as the waves glisten and the stars glow. This is what you might hear.

This is something much different than I believe you all are used to from me. I hope you enjoy it, I put a lot of effort into making it sound pretty! The chord progression just came to me at my fingertips, which is bizarre, because seventh chords generally don't have that effect on me.

Originally, I wrote this song with an electric piano (rhodes) preset going on with my FM synth. I jacked up the reverb on it and played this piece. I liked it a lot, so I arranged it for the orchestra bit you hear. Lastly, I replayed the piano part on top of the orchestra (which was a LOT of fun, although I think the piano may be a bit loud... I'll see in the morning).

Enjoy, and sorry it's short, but I'm not done with it (;

File this under the "way too short" category... me wants more.

This is a neat motif. The progression is both lighthearted and deep within the same passage, which to me really enhances the song's visual acuity. It evokes something mysterious and playful, but recognizes it in the light of something altogether more serious.

What a calm but warm sound. This however very short gave me the expressions of an endless road. Are you going to develop this tune or was is just an experiment kind of sound?

Yes, I can imagine that blue scene, moon light reflects from waves. I like lead piano melody very much, and the harmonic changes are something, what I especially like . I think seventh chord gives that certain "jazzy" smoothness to chord progression, I like it. With these crappy speakers I'm listening, it's difficult to say anything about mixing, but I don't think that piano is too loud, but that pizzicato? string is a bit too loud. Reminds about newest Final Fantasy... and that's a good thing . =)
