Year: 2007

Album:
The Wild Hordes Of Gilgamesh - Demo (Track #1)

Artist's description:
The opening track of my old TWHoG demo album. This piece is a fast rocker in 7/8 time singnature with a hammond solo and some progressive elements รก la Dream Theater, Symphony X and Shadow Gallery.

The mixing sucks though... I've been thinking about doing some remixes of my older songs especially of this one. If I only had some time...

Inspiration:
Many progressive rock and metal bands.

This sounds like a mixture of anything crossing the author's mind at the moment, some of Dream theater's songs are written like this at it feels a bit crazy :) Spanish traditional music meets progressive metal with hammond organ. But the reason why people listen to it is because the composer is skilled enough to glue all these things together in a form that is musically very complex and pushes the performer's abilities to the limits, which brings complicated music addicts into a nirvana-like state of mind. Muahahaaa.. good song :)

Hey, great song. A little like Dream Theater only more symphonic. Very nice :)

Yup! Good guess, you probably noticed that some of the notes aren't so flawless :D
