where did you get that sound byte? was from a Nova PBS production or some BBC Science special?

One of the most creative lyrical inventions I've heard here. Your voice suits this style very well.

Outstanding :D Excellent job on the vocals, dynamics, balancing, atmosphere...wow. I was expecting another chorus at the end, kind of a climactic reprise (and I really think it could help wrap things up), but even missing that this song is a great listen.

What makes your song to shine, is not the sonic engine behind them but the thought and the whole idea behind it. Every time your songs feel fresh and interesting. You have one gorgeous voice that suites in your styles of composition just perfectly. Great stuff SvL. But since this is a demo and your looking for ideas, try to make a separate version of this very song, this time start with strings and pads instead of percussion, as a lead-in or intro. Then shift and drop in both bass and drums percussions. See how it sounds.

This is an interesting song - has sort of an '80s groove to it ala Front 242 but really laid back - perhaps that was the intent considering the subject matter? I like your voice a lot. Interesting vocal sample selection too.
