Raindrops (Track #3)

Artist's description:
raindrops part 3.

This journey began in 2000, with Raindrops, originally for Living In Spring, a hellven music disk.

then in 2002, I released 'Saltwater' which was the follow up track....

and now some 6 years on, Tear... raindrops part 3....

This is also my first full Reason 4 made track. Still uncomfortable with it yet, but I'm getting there... didnt help that my SY77 was down for the 2nd half of the production of this :/. More reason for tear.

Whooooa Majestic bassliners, fantastic. The pads are simply amazing, which give the theme a new dimension. The melodies are actually indescribably awesome, they're soft and feel like silk. While I agree with bv-hoorn about the drums being ordinary yet it doesn't bother me, because there are so many beautiful sounds going on in this one that you won't even hear the drums. If I was to change anything in this one, I would probably go for a proper ending. but as usual thematically and melodically you prove yourself to be a messiah. Slammy, TIS wouldn't sound this good without you.

hey thanks for the kind words! :) I really didn't pay much attention to the drums, just used them as a vehicle to drag things along ;). If I were to change the drums, I'd probably soften them

Not too bad, slammy. The only reason I couldn't give it five stars is because of a couple of the sounds, especially the drums. To me, they sound a bit too, well, ordinary. A different kit would've probably tipped it onto a five for me. Other than that, great stuff. You're obviously enjoying R4. :)
