Uematsu is a real maestro in airship themes yes. ;) FF IX - "The Airship Hilda Garde" is my all time favourite. FF V - Hiryuu flying theme is also fantastic.

For a moment it felt like I was playing Turrican or Megaman. The chord progression is one beautiful work. The song brings cartoon images in mind yet the music itself doesn't sound cartoon-ish at all. Great work.
