Artist's description:
This has yet to be formally named. Its a three way collaboration which I am posting here first among strangers, rather than posting to Acidplanet. I feel I will get a more honest response from folks here. If you hate it, say so. If you like it then thats cool to. Fellow collaborators are Lizabeth Thomas and Darren Wright. Together we are knoiwn as DAX Project (just so you know). Now about the number. Its a combonation of a few genres. Its a mix of Urban with a touch of ambeint and a load of Goth. So be prepared for it. Thanks for listening.

A 3 way collaboration results in either bullshit or hit. This one to my opinion has the potentials to become a hit. The one behind the drum works has done a fabulous job. Person responsible for melodies and theme has managed to make a fresh and interesting theme with lots of mood changes and variations not to make it boring. All I miss in this one is sections of bassliners either groove and ground shaking or slap bass. Absolutely beautiful work. Keep up the good work.

yes google it - all one world - it seems many refugees from there have washed upon the shores of trax in space this past week.

Acid planet?! there's such a site? Jim Morrison would be it's first member.

trax in space is a nice place for serious composers and fun songs too. consider it free hosting and community rec room for he amateur as most are working with computers in some fasion. it is probably best not to pay attention to the charts anywhere. if you want serious opinions I'm game. of course it is all opinion and there are no real rules in music.

Tough Time? Thats putting it mildly. They act like a bunch of children on Acidplanet. If it isn't hiphop battle dissing its a bunch of chart whores who believe they will be discoverd by some A&R guy in the business. For a site that size it sometimes can be a bit stressful. I took a break away from there for 2 years. My friends have lured me back and sometimes I wonder why? So yes, it can be tough.

Hm. I am wondering of you plan to revise this before posting on AP. Its good for now but those clowns on AP will rip you a new (you know what). It just feels like somethings missing.

I like the guitars. Just curious what program you use to make this sort of music with.

Well... perhaps, since I do not listen in the genre I have a broader view - the details mean less to me. This sounds pretty typical dance type stuff with just a touch of muted guitar added. To me it is not terribly innovative. The sound quality is pretty good but the music does not develop that much - which is true to the genre - which why I typically don't listen. Perhaps if one wants to groove this is good for that. I personally find little of interest. I also think mixing genre is not just mixing samples frm different genres. Each genre has its own set of compositional tendencies as well as sound - that is what makes it a genre. For instance using a death metal guitar sound in "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" would not make it "Death Metal". It would just be bizarre (and perhaps interesting because of that, but not death metal). That is my honest opinion.

If that's still in production, I'd say you're on the right.. track ;) This has a strong L. Schifrin flavor. I'm still looking for the Goth side of it, aside that distorted guit. riff, maybe. --- I'm just curious as to why you've posted it: since it's in progress, are you looking for advice or something?
