Artist's description:
A jittery mix of hybrid house, electro and vocal influence. Fairly cultured rythem and structure; a catchy ditty for the dance-floor demons.

*This track has serious clipping problems with the vocals, and must be disregarded as best possible until I get a chance to remaster them.

Inspiration:
Relationships, intimacies and pop-culture dynamics.

I liked the octaved vocals; they add a great deal. It's just the main vox have some hesitation and small pitch issues here and there. Not glaringly bad, but enough to hurt it a little.

Thank you I appreciate the creative input - from all of you. The vocals have... ironically been selectively edited. I was aiming for a sound similar to the production and vocal quality of the house mix, 'The Fruit'. Croaking was very intentional - I just didn't want to conventionalise an already conventional genre any more I guess. To slammy - the vocals are vocoded.. note the suble extra voice an octave about my own, and in the left channel speaker, another voice singing in Harmony. But alas, it's not a final project I admit, ofcourse it could use some work. I used a karaoke mic in a dusty room and although I think the music arrangement is quite well done, If I had a means by which to record better more pronounced vocals, I would.

I agree with Alizhen; while the vocals could be worse, another few takes to pick and choose from would definitely help. I personally didn't care much for the croaking vocals in the verse. Something more breathy or somewhat harshly whispered might sound better. The rest of the mix rocks, but I hope you don't plan on doing anything drastic with that beautiful car of yours :(

Very 80's electro, the basic idea of the song is actually very traditional and repetitive (although no more than most pop songs on the radio). However it still manages to sound unique...it's those little touches like the bends on the vocals, the snaky cymbals, and like 80's funk infused instrumental arrangement (where you never know quite what effect will drop in next) that makes it achieve a special kind of funk. Also, this sounds mysteriously like something Poolside (Twiterror's side project) would produce...have you two ever considered collaborating?

loved the musical score, but wasn't overly thrilled by the vocals....maybe you should vocoder them!
