Artist's description:
An attempt at liquid style break-beat...one of those hidden production tricks it seems virtually no one can do smoothly (well...except maybe Alizhen or Hybrid). :-D
Also my first attempt to ditch the timing limits of Reason and Trackers and using the full timing accuracy of MIDI (far beyond even 160th notes accuracy) to create a liquid "dub" style beat.
Trying to gain the smoothness of AliZhen's breaks...not quite there but still having fun. :-)

Contributors:
Composed in 100% general midi using Frieve (free MIDI composer)...note the general midi sounds. IF you know free MIDI composition software that allows assigning of samples to notes in channel 10, PLEASE let me know and I will be happy to replace the crappy general midi instruments with "real" sampled drums. :-)

Hehe....I agree it's still not quite liquid, in the same way, say, Alizhen's "Boxed In" is liquid. Fills shouldn't be too bad though...now that I've got an idea of the range of dynamics and timing delays each drum works well on...thank you as always for the comments. :-)

Well I don't know if it's liquid, but it sure rolls nicely. And for a MIDI prod, sounds quite good to me ;) --- But, that's only the main beat, I'm guessing it gets way trickier when you're working on rolls and fill-ins..
