Recently I decided that my desktop was too dreary, so
I swapped out the color scheme for something a bit less
cold and put in a theme which had warm colours and then as a cherry on top I put a rendered image of a desert with a harsh sun beating down on it. That desert landscape is so powerful that I sometimes just stare into it and wonder how it would feel to be there...

And that in combination with me needing something to fall asleep to made this song a neccessity for me :)

Thanks for the comment Hanhis and yes, the drums are quite shocking when they enter like that, there's no pardon whatsoever in the way they trample allover the melodies :) I might make another version of this song where I enhance the melodies further yet remove the drums entierly. (but as I'm definitely not an ambient artist, that's going to require quite a bit of work)

Hmm. I feel like having dry mouth, and my tongue is "glued" into my mouth. I didn't expect drums to come in, and frankly, I didn't like them ( drums ). Other filter elements raise overall dry feeling behind this song. That whistle melody brings desperate feeling in, of no water nearby. Overall, I think here is dry atmosphere, while listening this song.
