Artist's description:
A house/electo track I guess. Was trying to get a good sound with few elements and using events rather then fading to introduce events, the idea of the song was really "less is more" Tell me what you think, is it?

This song is something difficult. I think you've made one of the most wonderfull house tracks. The funky rhythm speak for themselves, but the chosen sounds are way off. When looking at the sounds the... Read full review

Love the intro and the entrance of the kick. This got my foot moving uncontrollably. But it sounds like something is missing. The bassline and drums are nice, but the lead synth does not lift off.... Read full review

While catchy and definitely danceable, this track is dragged down by its simplicity and repetition. The main chord progression is interesting, but it never really goes anywhere.... Read full review

Catchy chord progression, which, unfortunately almost never changes except a few minor variations in the outro verse. There are several instruments, such as the kick and buzz that comes in for the outro verse. Most of the entertainment centers around the quality of the minimalistic mixing and melodic hook...there are maybe 4 drums in this song that move very slowly and virtually no drum rotation which puts the focus on when the drums' drop in or out near the end of each measure during the short transitions. Overall this sounds a bit like a demo song on a Yamaha CS2X...catchy but with very little last-ability due to it's single melody, 4-chord nature...you may want to try using at least 8-12 main chords and or, substantially changing the melody so the neighboring tones form different chords. As stands this track sounds a bit un-energetic and un-surprising, though catchy. 3/5 stars.

Well, I think it works in this song, less is more. Nothing bad to say, easy to listen.

I almost agreed with Dimensioncrasher but then I told myself why should it be more bassy. It is not appropriate to follow stereotypes. There moments that the second becomes a bit weak ,case there is no interesting change in the main melody. But overall it a song that keeps my juices flowing and pumping. Good work Tyr. 7/10 . Also I have to agree with you here Less is definitely more and definitely better. I never felt while listening to this song that it was too simple , because it worked for me. Time for me to apply this excellent advice. Less is more!

Hey man.. I like the pad thing at the start. The bass is pretty cool but the kick could use a little more "thump" :P The screaming lead is not controlled enough, it gets kinda annoying after a while.. I would change that and try clean up the overrall tune some. Its cool that you're attempting different stuff.. practice makes perfect ;) Cheers.
